One form of media is the T.V, a cell phone, Facebook, a newspaper, and a radio.
A T.V can get a message across by watching a commercial about let's say soap. the commercial is telling you buy this soap and you will be happy. So you go out and buy the soap.
An example of getting a message across by a cell phone is if your having a party and you want people to know you can just send them a text saying the directions and when and if they show up the show up.
One example of Facebook being a form of it is you post on your wall you went shopping and all your friends know you just went to the store. (I don't know why people would want to know why you just went to the store and got a stick of salami but hay just tell them anyway.)
A newspaer can tell people that some kid just got raped and murdered and our society loves to see what people think and are nosy and care about every little thing that happens in this stupid world.
And lastly a radio can get a message across by sending out a broadcast and tell people stuff that's happening in this world new.
